"MURDER HOUR" LUT example video

The footage in this video was only colored with the “Murder Hour” LUT with NO additional color grading. All of these clips in the video are the .cube on log footage - no tricks or gimmicks. This LUT really works on all kinds of footage!

This is a LUT I personally designed for the Blackmagic Pocket 4k/6k (bmpcc) to make your footage feel like a horror film. This LUT is ideal for daytime or nighttime and it works for the following genres: Horror, thriller, suspense, action, sci-fi.

This grade works best with a log film profile on the BMPCC

I have tested this clip with dozens of clips ranging in color temperature of lights, lighting conditions, and colors present in the scene. All interior shots in the example video above were with daylight balance 5600k lights and a tungsten background rim light. All night footage was filmed with a blue gel.
